Ravi Paranjape is the third honored recipient of the 'Dayawati Modi Award' presented in year 1996, preceded by Mother Teresa 1995 and Shri Amitabh Bachchan in 1994.

'Academy Award' presented by the 'Academy of American Artists'.Ravi Paranjape is an eminent painter, illustrator, architectural illustrator & graphic designer. He is a noted writer with a unique style and also an acclaimed art critic. His book, 'Shikhare Ranga Reshanchi', about some of the legendary painters around the world is being published in India. Biography
Born on the 8th of October 1935 at Belgaum, Karnataka State of India. Ravi Paranjape studied art at 'Chitra Mandir' in Belgaum and obtained a Govt. Diploma in Drawing & Painting from the then Bombay State in the year 1957. Coming to Bombay in the following year, be set his feet on a long and distinguished career path that was marked by his important contributions to the fields of Editorial Art, Advertising Art, Display Design, Architectural Rendering and Painting.
The seven one-man shows he has held since 1980 onwards were characterized by overwhelming public response to his work. Whether he does an illustration, an architectural rendering or a painting, Ravi Paranjape's work displays his unique intellect, his intense emotional response to his work and an aesthetic approach of his own which becomes apparent through a number of unique styles he has produced hitherto......
